Games Night and Tornament!

During the meeting before Games Night, people were very SERIOUS in preparing for their tournament!

Games Night

The time to raise thy stones and pierce thy opponents’ eyes draws near! That’s right people, Games Night and thus the Go tournament will be happening VERY SOON. So make sure you mark your calendars for the 17th of September (4pm to 7pm) at Joe Napolitano B, 2f Union House. It’s the last day before the mid semester break so there should be no mad rush to finish any assignments.

Games Night is a joint event with the chess club and includes the Go Tournament so for those who are not interested in climbing the bloody ladder of victory, there will be other games there during the night. You are more than welcomed to show the Chess club a thing or two about their own game XD.

As for those who will be joining the tournament why not relax your mind with a quick game of pair/team Go while you wait for your match against Henry the Horrible or Bob…the builder…(said members do not exist however the latter is copyrighted by some dude in Britain).

As usual we will have FREE FOOD, FREE lollies and FREE drinks. So come along and play some games and support your fellow members or simply just come along to munch on some free food with us!

Games Night
Date and Time: 17th September 4pm to 7pm
Venue: Joe Napolitano B, Second floor Union House
Japanese Rules with Handicapped games and Komi 6.5 for the Tournament
$2 fee for non SPGO members.
For those who want to fight for thy honour in the tournament it would be helpful if you could give a quick shout out to us via email. We will also be accepting registration for the tournament on the night.
